3. Purposes and legal bases
Answering enquiries and preparing offers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), processing orders, contracts and invoices (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR, including statutory retention under German commercial and tax law), operating and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, only with your consent, optional analytics (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Support chat
If you use the support chat, your messages are processed to generate an answer. Please do not enter sensitive personal data. Chat content is not used for advertising.
5. Recipients
Hosting and application platform providers, email delivery providers, payment providers and shipping carriers, each only as far as required and bound by data processing agreements. Manufacturers (e.g. Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft) receive data only where needed for warranty, licensing or registration of products you purchase.
6. Retention
Enquiries are deleted when no longer needed, usually after 24 months without a business relationship. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the statutory periods (up to 10 years).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection Baden-Württemberg.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use only technically necessary storage (language choice, quote request, sign-in and your consent decision; legal basis § 25 (2) TDDDG). Optional services such as statistics are only used with your consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Fonts are hosted on our own servers; no data is sent to Google Fonts.
9. Job applications
If you apply, we process your details and documents to decide on your application (§ 26 BDSG, Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR). Only the people involved in hiring have access. If we do not hire you, we delete your data six months after the decision, unless you agree to a longer retention for future vacancies.
